Gabrielle Lyster was born and raised in the lower north Island of New Zealand.

She grew up around the clothing industry, her father being Manager of a clothing factory as well as a Magician. She joined her Dad, sister and 3 brothers in performing Magic around New Zealand and Australia.

Gabrielle attended Wellington Polytechnic for two years and received her diploma in Fashion and Design. Gabrielle currently works full time as Head of Wardrobe for Criss Angel Believe ? Cirque du Soleil and in her spare time works on Teeflirt.

Previously she worked for Lance Burton Master Magician for 14 ½ years.

After winning her Green Card in the Lottery, in 1995, Gabrielle moved to the USA and became a citizen in 2000.
